And How to Clear Them
E04-4: Please insert smartcard
Insert the correct/valid smartcard in the decoder smartcard slot.
E05-4: Unknown smartcard
Insert a valid smartcard in the decoder smartcard slot
E06-4: Smartcard failure
Please check if the smartcard is not damaged and gently re-insert smartcard. OR Reset/Flash erase the decoder, without the smartcard in the decoder. Once the E04 message appears insert the smartcard
E133-4: Cannot view the channel
Error is similar to E120-4: Smartcard is being synchronized above.
E143-4: Home Gateway HNA expired
This is similar to a “waiting for communication” error message indicating that there is a problem with the heartbeat or communication with the secondary decoder.

E144-4: Wrong Home Network
The smartcard is invalid for the network since it is already active. In other words the decoder contains history of another smartcard which was paired to it before the swap occurred

E107-4: The smart card is not fully authorized
Error indicates that the smartcard and decoder are notmatched or paired. This error is applicable on secured silicone decoders such as the DSD11xx and HDPVR’s. Contact Service center for assitance
E101-29: No MSK or master session key
This error is possibly caused by a corruption in a portion where the PVR MSK is stored on the decoder, and hence removing PVR functionality from PVRs (HD and SD). This error message may also be cleared with an E16 reset command or cancelling and reconnecting of services
E102-29: Function cannot be performed without a valid subscription
The PVR product is missing from the smartcard or there is a product mismatch – this error is seen when attempting to start a recording or playback. Contact You Nearest Service Center for Assistance
E120-4: Smartcard is being synchronized
This error may also occur if there are problems with the fibre link or satellite link (or other play-out issues) and this may affect more than one customer at a time.

E108-4: Unable to view this channel
The smartcard could not be authenticated resulting in channels not being viewable. Please leave the decoder connected to the satellite signal for at least 2 hours
E109-4: Unable to view this channel
This error is similar to the E16-4. Please add product on the smartcard
E100-4: Unable to view this channel
The viewer is not entitled to watch this service because the date code on the smartcard has expired. This error message may also be cleared with an E16 reset command - Call customer care for assistance
E45-32: Service not allowed
This error message indicates that the channels (on a specific transport stream) is blocked for viewing from the play-out side
E50-32: No services available in the bouquet
There are no channels available for viewing in the bouquet tuned to.
E05: Guide data not available
This error means that the TV Guide information needs to be updated and it is applicable to the SDPVR. Please exit the BoxOffice screen and advise customers to press the TV Guide button and wait for the ‘event information’ to load. This should take a few seconds to fully load and then launch BoxOffice when the event information is fully loaded.
E02: No BoxOffice titles found.
There are titles on the hard drive, but not displayed – none of the recorded titles are available to that country (country code on smart card or Country Config). Please leave the decoder connected to the satellite signal – no user interaction is required. Also ensure that you have a strong signal strength and quality.
E03: BoxOffice not available in this country yet
The BoxOffice titles are not available to this country (country is “not available” in Country Config file).Please leave the decoder connected to the satellite signal – no user interaction is required. Also ensure that you have a strong signal strength and quality.
E04: No BoxOffice titles found
Please leave the decoder connected to the satellite signal – no user interaction is required. Also ensure that you have a strong signal strength and quality.
E75-32: LNB is overloaded
This error message displays when there is problem with the second viewing environment. Please check if there is a problem with the LNB cable connectors.
E76-32: TV2 is disabled for viewing
This error message displays on the secondary environment if the service are not viewable as a result of an inactive smartcard/subscription.
I07-4: Checking smartcard
Checking if smartcard is valid - the message should display for few seconds and then disappear.
E70-32: This service is unavailable on your second TV
This error message appears when attempting to tune to a service which is available on the second viewing environment only due to software limitation
E71-32: Song title and Artist information cannot be viewed
The process of scanning the service list is in progress and therefore not possible to view any channel at the same time
E73-32: TV link is overloaded
This error message displays when there is a problem with the TV link ie: too much current being passed through. The TVlink enables change of channels from the secondary environment.Check if the TV link is connected properly or if theTV link is faulty.
I102-4: Unable to view the channel
The code means that the smartcard status is unknown and the symptom of this message is a “blank” screen i.e. no audio and video on TV screen. The message is not visible on the TV screen and can be found under CA Status screen. Please remove and re-insert the smartcard. In the worst case scenario a reboot may be required
I55-4: Subscription update in progress
This code means that the products in the smartcard have expired and the symptom of this message is a blank screen i.e. no audio and video. Please leave the decoder connected to the satellite signal – the process may take a while (it can be up to hours) to complete
E01: No BoxOffice titles found
There is nothing available on the hard drive. Please leave the decoder connected to the satellite signal – no user interaction is required. Also ensure that you have a strong signal strength and quality.
E38: Program Map Table (PMT) not available
This could be resolved by re-scanning the decoder to obtain an updated service list. If the decoder is not scanning properly or not finding the service it could be that there is a problem with the installation or tuners in the decoder. Decoder will require testing on a different installation set-up.
E43-32: Channel not allowed in this country
This error indicates that a channel is not allowed in a specific country as indicated in the smartcard. This means the information in the smartcard does not match information in the service descriptor table from the play-out side.
E44-32: No Event Information
This error means that the event information for the channel tuned to is not available and there is parental guidance set. Please enter the correct PIN (if known) or wait for event information to be updated. Also check if the signal cables are properly connected.
E30-4: Channel not available for viewing
The decoder (with smartcard inserted) needs to be left connected to the power with signal connected properly. In some cases a re-auth may be required. Contact Your nearest service center for assistance
E37-32: Service does not exist
Please ensure that the country code specified for the smartcard is correct or valid
E38-32: Service is not running
This could be as a result of the service being removed or discontinued or reserved for later.
E19-4: Subscription to this channel has expired
Please leave the decoder connected to a satellite signal for a while. This may take longer and if nothing happens, Call your nearest service center.
D29-4: Service is currently descrambled
Please leave the decoder connected to the satellite signal for some time (at least an hour) – it should present audio and video. Un-pair and pair the decoder with smartcard i.e. send the E107 command twice
E17-4: Smartcard is currently not married to the decoder
Marry the smartcard with the decoder by using the marriage command. Call Your nearest service center for the above to be done for You
