First let me just explain this, the different color codes on you see on your decoder and what they mean.

Flashing Amber

What we may also call as Yellow or Orange, Flashing Amber means you have a couple of unread messages of your decoder. All you have to to is go to mail messges on your decoder to read your unread messages and the falshing Amber will stop.

Blinking Green

This simply means that your decoder is receiving remote commands or simply put the decoder is responding to your remote. So each time you press a button on your remote, the green light on your decoder will blink

Solid Red

This means that the decoder is in StandBy Mode, this is similar to a computer being put in sleep mode. It’s off but not entirely off. The stand by button can be found on both the decoder and your remote

Solid Amber

This state of the decoder means that the decoder is downloading software. With this realization make sure the decoder is not switched off until the download process is complete

Solid Green

This state of the decoder means that the decoder is tuned to an audio or video channel. While you are viewing your tv program, take a moment and look at your front decoder panel you will realize the the solid green

Solid GREEN and RED

A combination of GREEN and RED means that there is an error with in the decoder’s inner workings. Sometimes this error may not affect how the decoder functions, you will continue to view tv normally but the solid Green and Red will persist on front decoder panels. If so its likely to resolve reolve on it own simply leave the  decoder in power.

But if the decoder stops functioning with this this Solid GREEN and RED combination, contacting your nearest service center for assistance will be your next best option. to fix the decoder.

Now back to our topic and hand.

Its seems you may need to go mail messages on you decoder to read your unread messages, only then will your front panel stop blinking constantly with the yellow or orange or Amber color constantly

If you have read all your messages but the yellow or orange or Amber color is persisting, then the below procedure will help resolve the issue
