DSTv Remotes, GOTv remotes at some point fail to work or respond to the DSTv decoder, GOTv decoder. But before you fully conclude that the remote is spoilt, try taking steps below;
Batteries
If the batteries are working the LED light on the DSTv remote will flicker as for the GOTv remote the LEDs on the decoder will flicker.
If the remote is not responding accordingly, Remove and put back the batteries into the remote Or replace existing batteries with new ones. If that does not work then the remote is faulty and you will have to replace it with a new one. Visit your nearest multichoice service center for assistance.
Also make sure there are no obstacles that would block the direct remote signal from the remote to the decoder.
For DSTv explorer decoders and decoders in an xtraview environment, make sure the remotes or remotes in an xtraview environment are set to the right remote modes both on the decoder and the remote its self.
